Liaison Center for Innovative DentistryLiaison Center for Innovative Dentistry
The Liaison Center for Innovative Dentistry was established on April 1st, 2011 at the Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry with the trailblazing mission to bring advanced education, innovative research, clinical expertise, and social contribution into practice in collaboration with local and international organizations.
The Liaison Center for Innovative Dentistry consists of four interconnected divisions: the “Division for Advanced Education Development”, “Globalization Initiative”, “Interdisciplinary Integration” and “Regional Community Development”. Based on the idea of Interface Oral Health Science, a next-generation concept of dentistry proposed by the Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry, our activity goes beyond global education and research to promoting industry-academia-government synergy as well as joint research with local communities and integration of interdisciplinary research.
