A Call for Academia's Engagement in Science Communication and Advocacy Towards Better Oral Health.
Assistant professor Hazem Abbas, Associate professor Kenji Takeuchi, and Dean Ken Osaka published their editorial in the Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology (CDOE) Journal in collaboration with expert professors from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Colombia, and University College London (UCL), United Kingdom (UK).
The editorial called for bold action from the Academic institutions involved in Dental Public Health Research through the formation of dedicated task forces at each of these institutions to engage in science communication and advocacy efforts to tackle oral health inequalities and improve population oral health.
