Delegation from Airlangga University Faculty of Dental Medicine

On October 13, 2026, a five-member delegation from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Airlangga University, Indonesia, including Dean Muhammad Luthfi and Vice Dean Dini Setyowati, visited the Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry.
During the visit, Dean Ken Kosaka, Vice Dean Nobuhiro Yoda, Professor Guang Hong, and Assistant Professor Aobo Ma participated in discussions on past achievements in student exchange and academic collaboration, as well as opportunities to further strengthen and expand these initiatives in the future.
The delegation also visited the Division of Oral Ecology and Biochemistry and the Division of International Oral Health. In addition, they toured the facilities of Tohoku University Hospital, gaining insight into the educational, research, and clinical activities in dentistry.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the partnership between the two universities and lay the groundwork for the continued development of student exchange and academic collaboration. The Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry will continue to strengthen its ties with the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Airlangga University and promote international exchange in education and research.
