Universitas Indonesia, as our partner university for the CAMPUS ASIA Program, visited our school on September 13th, 2022. The dean, Dr., drg. Nia Ayu Ismiati, MDSc., Sp. Ort(K) and the head of the international affairs unit Dr., drg. Sariesendy Sumardi, Sp. Ort(K) were welcomed by our dean and faculty members.

During their visit, we discussed our future collaboration project and the establishment of the double degree program. In addition, we finally signed a Memorandum of Agreement for establishing the Liaison Office offline in Tohoku University Graduate School of Dentistry and Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia. This is the first offline signature ceremony after long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After the discussion, they visited the Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics Department, and Associate Prof. Hideaki Kitaura gave a short presentation about his research topic in his department. They also visited our Center of Common Research Laboratory (CoReLab).
